one of those silly forum games, ive kinda done it on other threads but the object is simple you post lyrics and someone else guesses them yadda yadda yadda you get the point
heres my song (its kinda easy):
For the first time today I feel it's really over You were my everyday excuse For playing deaf, dumb and blind Who'd have ever thought This was how it would end for you and me To carry my own millstone Out of the trees And I have to admit I don't like it a bit Being left here beside this lonesome road. Lonesome road Lonesome road

well ya know thats obviously for the first time today..
There was a young girl, whose heart was a frown 'cause she was crippled for life, and she couldn't speak a sound And she wished and prayed she could stop living, so she decided to die She drew her wheel chair to the edge of the shore, and to her legs she smiled 'you won't hurt me no more' But then a sight she'd never seen made her jump and say, 'Look, a golden winged ship is passing my way' And it really didn't have to stop, it just kept on going And so castles made of sand, slips into the sea, eventually
that's pretty obvious..

well that would be hendrix's castles made of sand
The memories of a man in his old age Are the deeds of a man in his prime. You shuffle in gloom of the sickroom And talk to yourself as you die.
Life is a short, warm moment And death is a long cold rest. You get your chance to try in the twinkling of an eye: Eighty years, with luck, or even less.
So all aboard for the American tour, And maybe you'll make it to the top. And mind how you go, and I can tell you, 'cause I know You may find it hard to get off.
You are the angel of death And I am the dead man's son. And he was buried like a mole in a fox hole. And everyone is still in the run.
And who is the master of fox hounds? And who says the hunt has begun? And who calls the tune in the courtroom? And who beats the funeral drum?
The memories of a man in his old age Are the deeds of a man in his prime. You shuffle in gloom in the sickroom And talk to yourself till you die.

[glow=navy,2,300]Reached back for the bottle And rub against the lamp Genie came out smiling Like some Eastern tramp He said hey boy what's happening What is going on You can have three wishes If you don't take too long I said well I wish they were all happy in the Lebanon Wish somebody'd help me write this song I wish when I was young My old man had not been gone Genie said consider it done
There's something in the air And you don't know what it is You see someone through the window Who you've just learned to miss And the road leads on to glory but You've used up your last wish Your last wish And you want her to come home
Genie said I'm sorry But that's the way it goes Where the hell's the lamp sucker It's time for me to go Bye
There's something in the air And you don't know what it is You see someone through the window Who you've just learned to miss And the road leads on to glory but You've used up your last wish Your last wish And you want her to come home[/glow]

don't know that one, but try this:
Dust falls on the empty halls of my old school Where the memories fade like the casualty a forgotten fool Now wide-eyed has become the blind unspoken rule Deeper only deep is now the word the lesson's not the answer you once heard
Don't turn your back on me don't ever let me down she said I picked you up each time Before you hit the ground Your selfish face is now erased when someone mentions you And the darkness that you left Has all but stepped aside With disappearing clouds the sun arrives Within a mile of home Within a mile of home
Worry o' my worry has it been that long The whistle keeps on blowin' but the tune's long gone His empty frame cannot explain there's nothing left inside So sing to me a song from yesterday When laughter filled the tears that we now make
Don't turn your back on me don't ever let me down she said I picked you up each time Before you hit the ground Your selfish face is now erased when someone mentions you If only you had seen What I now see And turned the corner where you would have been Within a mile of home Within a mile of home
So sing to me, sing me a song, a song from yesterday And when the laughter drank these tears before the promises that now slip away
Don't turn your back on me Don't turn your back on me Don't ever let me down
We are within a mile We are within a mile within a mile of home...

You get what you see I saw a rich fuck giving charity Saw an evil emperor wearing my clothes They're far from the best But they suit you better than the rest Just looking in the mirror Will make you a brave man I know my place Hate my face I know how I begin, and how I'll end Strung out again You're a parliament of owls Flying over a city of canals Voting on the body Floating face down You get what you see Some things they just change invisiabally I dont know where im going I dont even wanna know I know my place Hate my face I know how I begin and how I'll end Strung out again Standing, smiling on some fantasy island Looking at my loss Reflection of you But the tides coming in And I'm strung out again Strung out again

Bah, peaches... haha
"You get the car, I'll get the night off You'll get the chance to take the world apart and figure out how it works. Don't let me know what you find out. I need a car, you need a guide who needs a map. If I don't die or worse, I'm gonna need a nap. At best I'll be asleep when you get back.
I wanna see it, when you get stoned on a clouded, breezy, desert afternoon. I wanna their faces turn to backs of heads and slowly get smaller. I wanna see it now.
I wanna see movies of my dreams... I wanna see movies of my dreams... I wanna see movies of my dreams..."

! Brand New Well it was certainly that day, packed the clothes and did laundry. I put it off, but they were alive. When I walked by they'd give me five. So I packed up boxers and socks. And I am a bagel with some rocks. But I've known she would be there The girl with chopsticks in her hair. So do you come here all the time? Why are your's fluffier than mine? I think its time to change my bill. But your soap technique is pretty ill. So do you come here all the time? Why are your's fluffier than mine? I think its time to change my bill. But your soap technique is pretty ill. We'll see who's hesitant at first. I think a little flattened by my dirt. But I said "babe I feel so clean" Unless she likes it dirt-e.
